To comply with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and ensure the security of our customers’ assets, it’s essential for us to gather pertinent information at the outset of our service. This requirement underscores our commitment to due diligence and asset safety, hence the need for customers to provide necessary details when initiating an account.

All regulated and serious brokers require this information and you should only ever choose a broker who insists on these requirements.

What personal information is required to open an account?

For personal accounts, we require you to complete a registration form that includes details on your employment and financial status, accompanied by a form of ID with a photo (like a driver’s license, My Number card, or passport).

For corporate accounts, we need the main user’s ID, details on directors/officers/shareholders, information on entities with more than a 25% stake (significant controllers), their employment status, financial status, and a proof of address document.

Is there an age limit for opening an account?

You must be at least 18 years old to open a Swift Trader account.

Is there a deadline for completing the opening of an account?

Please note that there is no deadline for completing the account opening process and you can start trading without completing it, however if you have not completed it, you will be asked to enter the appropriate information or send an image(Photo ID) when withdrawing funds, in accordance with KYC (Know Your Client) rules.

Is it possible to update personal information?

You can change the phone number etc. on the client portal. For changes in your email address, please contact the customer experience. The ID card cannot be changed after approval.

When can I start trading?

You can start trading immediately after opening an account.

What is a limit order and how do you set it?

What is a take production order? How can I set it?

What is a trailing stop and how should I set it?

Trailing stop refers to a stop order placed in the PIPS/POINTs set in advance from the current market price. When the market is advantageous, the stop order is automatically trailed and it is possible to manage risk exposure.

What is rollover/swap?

Rollover/swap is the interest rate charged for your trading account at the end of each transaction date.

If you trade FX or other CFD instruments and close your position before 23:59 (GMT+3), no rollover swap will be credited.

What is a swap point? Also, how does it mean that the swap point is tripled?

“Swappoint” is a interest rate difference between the two currencies, which is generated by the number of days holding the transactions of two types of currencies (for example, US dollars and yen) with different interest rates, and has an unpaid ball. It occurs every day from the next business day. “Swappoint” changes at any time according to market interest rates that reflect various financial conditions, such as politics and economic trends in each country. Therefore, the amount of the swap point pays fluctuates depending on the interest rate trends at that time.

Every Wednesday is the 3x swap point giving day, and if you have an unpaid construction ball across Wednesday, you will be given three times the “swap point” from Wednesday to Thursday. Even if you hold an unpaid ball (position) over the weekend, if you do not have a position on Wednesday, which corresponds to the 3x swap point, there will be no swap points on Saturdays and Sundays.

Swift Trader has introduced zero cuts, so no additional proof is occurring. Therefore, there is no loss beyond the deposit amount.

What is the difference between each account type?
