Understanding the Trading Sessions and their hours and the Impact on Your Trading Strategy
Market Hours Overview
Take a quick look at the trading hours for all our available products below. Please note that SwiftTrader’s server time and charts operate on GMT+2 or GMT+3 during daylight savings.
For currency pairs, trading is available from 00:01 server time to 23:59 server time daily (23:57 on Fridays). Gold can be traded from 01:02 server time to 23:57. Other metals (XAG, XPD, XPT) are open for trading starting at 01:00 server time on Mondays and close at 23:59 server time daily (23:57 on Fridays).
You can also check the Trading Hours directly in your MetaTrader terminal by right-clicking on any instrument in the ‘Market Watch’ section, then selecting the ‘Specification’ button. A new window will display the Trading Hours for the selected pair.
Please note that Trading Hours are subject to change, and the most accurate details are available in your account through the electronic trading system.
